Welcome to the Philip Roth Society

Founded in 2002, The Philip Roth Society is a group devoted to the study and appreciation of Roth's literary works and legacy. We are a 501(c) 3 non-profit organization incorporated in the State of Missouri for educational purposes. The Society sponsors Philip Roth Studies, a peer-reviewed semiannual journal published by Purdue University Press. As member of the American Literature Association, the Society organizes panels at the ALA's annual conference; we also sponsor panels at other national conferences. The Society also holds bi-annual events, the most recent being the "Roth Remembered" conference, which was held April 2019 at the Goldsten-Goren Center for American Jewish History at New York University and the Center for Jewish History in Manhattan.

More information about the journal and the Society can be found on this website.
