CFP – “Philip Roth’s Influences” Panel at the 2012 ALA Conference

At next year’s 23rd annual American Literature Association Conference, the Philip Roth Society will be sponsoring a panel entitled “Philip Roth’s Influences.” We welcome proposals for papers on any aspects of this topic, for example papers that explore the relationship between writers/artists who have influenced Roth, and/or been influenced by him, and the work of Roth himself. Proposals/abstracts for 15-20 minute papers, not exceeding 300 words, should include “Roth Society Proposal” in the subject heading and emailed by David Brauner, Philip Roth Society Program Chair, at d.brauner [at] reading.ac.uk.

Deadline for abstract submissions is January 6, 2012.
