Siegel McDaniel Award announced

Congratulations to Joseph Ozias for winning this year's Siegel/McDaniel award . He won for his essay, The Fragmented Mark: Zuckerman’s Narration and Characters as Elements of Personal Self-Making in Philip Roth’s The Human Stain." Joseph is a PhD student at the University of Cincinnati who studies Jewish-American literature and film. In his research, he examines humor in both literature and film and considers questions of being, discovering, and performing, certain identities in one's writing.
